This day. There aren’t enough words to describe how perfect this day was. This was my first time in Texas and I have to say that I cannot wait to go back. I’ve known Danielle since we were both kids and was totally excited she wanted to fly me down to be a part of her wedding.
How They Met: On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2012, Matt and Danielle were set up on a blind date while Danielle was down in Texas visiting a friend.
Danielle bought her first pair of cowboy boots as they went out dancing in College Station, TX and the rest was history.
After two years of long distance and many trips back and forth from Michigan to Texas, Danielle went all in and moved to Katy, TX where she and Matt got a place together.
While traveling to 25 different cities and building memories over the years, the love continued to grow between them. Since the day they met they, both knew they were going to spend the rest of their lives together. On June 26, 2016 Matt got down on one knee and proposed to Danielle in his parents’ backyard!
I just adore their love story, and am beyond honored to get to share this part of it with them. Spend five minutes with the two of them and it’s clear Danielle and Matt are made for one another. They both have the biggest hearts and the absolute sweetest friends and families. From a perfect color palette, to amazing florals, a stunning venue to a killer dance party at the reception, every minute of this wedding was a photographer’s dream. Check out my many, many… way too many! favorites below. Rose gold. Sparkles. Lush greenery. *SWOON* Danielle’s favorite wedding day moment: “When the officiant said “you may kiss your bride,” and we turned around, I threw my bouquet up, and we walked down the aisle together as Mr. & Mrs.” Matt’s favorite wedding day moment: “Having the officiant turn me around until Danielle was in position at the end of the aisle, and then turning around to see her!”
Congratulations, y’all! I love you both and wish you nothing but happiness!
