2020: The year of the microwedding. This year has thrown everyone some curveballs; some bigger than others! But what we do with those curveballs is up to us. I’m loving seeing so many couples navigate this wedding season and truly make their celebrations their own. I know we will all be glad when it’s safe to have gatherings with all our loved ones again, but, until then, I hope to be a part of many more of these intimate microwedding days!
I’m not sure I can even put into words how wonderful Shae and David are. I felt an instant connection with them at their engagement session. They’re just the kind of nice, easy-going people that feel like instant friends. Their wedding day was no different. From start to finish, the focus was on having a good time, going with the flow, and celebrating their love. It was the perfect wedding to jump back into the season with before a busy September begins.
Venue3Two is one of my favorite Grand Rapids venues, and, though it has the capacity for much larger weddings, it was absolutely perfect for this smaller event. Upscale and elegant, but with all the charm of a quaint backyard wedding. I have so many favorite images I can’t wait to share!
Hope you have an amazing honeymoon, you too!
