Even as I work on these photos, I’m still in awe that I had the opportunity to photograph this destination wedding! Mackinac Island is one of my favorite places, and getting to photograph such a great couple there was a dream. Jade and Bob are so sweet to each other, and I knew as soon as I met them that we would be fast friends.
Mackinac Island is a very special place to these two. Not only is it somewhere they visit together each year, but it’s also where Bob asked Jade to be his wife. And now it is where they said “I do” in front of their closest family and friends. The Inn at Stonecliffe was a wonderful venue. Their staff was fantastic and everyone had the best time. I cannot wait to go back for another visit!
Enjoy these highlights from this dream-like day!
Believe it or not, but that black wedding band is made of solid diamond. To create this ring, millions of diamond crystals are fused together under one million pounds of pressure with incredible heat! So cool.
This stunning one-of-a-kind necklace was made from Jade’s grandparents’ engagement ring and wedding bands. And those earrings were also her late grandmother’s; a gift from her grandfather.
