Wedding days are simultaneously exciting, romantic, fun, and sometimes bittersweet for us photographers. Gabi and Arthur’s beautiful black tie wedding was definitely all of those things. Over the last few months, Gabi has felt like so much more than a client. We instantly connected over Instagram and have spent so much time getting to know one another and chatting about her wedding day. So it was bittersweet for this day to have come and gone.
Gabi and Arthur are two of the nicest, most generous people you could ever be lucky enough to know. The kind of people you meet and instantly connect with like you’ve been friends forever. And seeing them together, it’s no wonder they hit it off and fell head over heels for each other. Listening to their friends and family talk about their love story and give toasts brought tears to my eyes on several occasions.
If you saw their engagement session blog post, you already know that Gabi and Arthur met while both working at the Michigan Capitol building. They are the textbook definition of a “power couple.” They have successful careers, a strong foundation in their faith, and look like they stepped off the page of a magazine. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.
Gabi and Arthur, thank you so much for choosing me to share this incredible chapter with you. It has been a blessing and an honor. Enjoy this sneak peek and have an amazing honeymoon!
During the reception, we snuck away so Gabi and Arthur could read letters to one another. And I teared up again! They are just the sweetest.
