I cannot believe we are already taking photos of the class of 2022! As I typed that, I turned to my husband and said “weren’t you the class of ‘02…?!” Ope… Although I mostly shoot weddings these days, I still absolutely love every time I get to take senior portraits. This Rockford and Grand Haven senior session with John was no exception. John is a senior this year at Greenville high school, but wanted to take his photos where he spends a lot of time with his friends. We started in downtown Rockford at the dam and then made our way to the pier in Grand Haven. From the very first few frames, John was totally at home in front of the camera. He couldn’t take a bad photo if he tried!
There truly is no bigger compliment you can give a photographer than referring them to your friends and family. John’s mom reached out to me because I took his cousin’s, Ellie, senior photos two summers ago. It blows me away that I get to meet so many awesome new people this way. Thank you all for your support, your referrals, and your trust with documenting all these special moments.
I digress; let’s get to these photos, shall we?!
I think these shots at the pier are my favorite. Felt like we were at a beach in Cali shooting a new clothing ad for Hollister.
John, have an amazing senior year! Best of luck in your future. I wish you nothing but success in whatever you decide to do after graduation.
