I know that I say it all the time, but I absolutely have THE BEST clients; the kind of clients that really value their photos and will do just about anything for an amazing session. Katie and Brad are no exception. We have had some rough weather here in Pure Michigan lately: sub-zero temps… lots of snow and ice… But nothing was going to stop us from some fantastic winter engagement photos! Let me tell you, though, I am not a winter person. I don’t ski or do any of those “fun” snowy things, so once Christmas is over, I’m more than ok with a big thaw and unseasonably warm temps until Spring. Michigan, however, usually has other plans. That said, I showed up to this session totally prepared. I had leggings on under my jeans and about four layers under my long, down-filled winter coat. Ten minutes in, I was sweating. It was a bit over-kill, oops! But I digress…

Brad popped the big question back in December and now he and Katie are planning a gorgeous July wedding. More sessions like this one and maybe, just maybe, I might start to love winter a little more. Ok, love is too strong of a word. Tolerate. Maybe I could tolerate winter.
