My cutie little niece is turning one in just a few days! So of course, we had to celebrate with a first birthday cake smash and take some pictures. These milestone sessions are so much fun; especially at this age. Ellie is such a little doll with a huge personality. I’m so excited to celebrate her at her birthday party next weekend. The theme is “Ellie’s Berry First Birthday” so the strawberries were a must!

My dear Ellie, it seems like yesterday I was meeting you for the first time in the hospital! Time is a thief, but it has been so much fun watching you grow. As much as I want to slow down the clock, I can’t help but think about how much fun it’s going to be to take you shopping or out for pedicures when you’re older. And I hope you and Sawyer grow into the best of friends.

I have been dying to do something with the new black wall in Samantha Joy Studio! These are pretty different from my usual style but I ADORE them! They give me old vintage photo vibes, especially the black and white. After portraits it was time for cake! Little miss had to pick off and taste every strawberry first.
