I’m going to be an auntie (again!). I adore watching all of my couples grow their little families. However, it’s an extra special experience when it’s your own sister. It feels like just a few weeks ago that I watched Marissa and Paul say “I do,” and now in just a few weeks, they will be welcoming their first baby. Doing their maternity session felt so surreal. I think I speak on behalf of our entire family when I say we cannot wait to meet you, baby Chandler!
I’m so glad I was able to make this trip down to North Carolina to help put some finishing touches on the nursery, and for a maternity session in Marissa and Paul’s new home. It’s been tough being so far away during such a special time. Shortly after their wedding, these two packed up and moved from Michigan to North Carolina for Paul’s job in the Army. Due to the distance, and COVID, we weren’t able to have a traditional baby shower or gender reveal. We hopped on a family Facetime call with them a couple months ago to find out baby Chandler is a boy!
One of my new favorite days of the week is when Marissa sends us her weekly bump photo. It helps us all feel like we are able to be a part of her journey to becoming a mom. I already can’t wait to come back once baby makes his debut to take some newborn photos!
How cute is their nursery?! Paul’s dad, and therefore Paul, is Australian so koalas have become a mini theme.
Big brother, Teddy, joined us for a few photos, too.
Love all three of you so much!
Gorgeous! Beautiful! Stunning!
So glad to share the moments with you both ❤️
Nothing makes a parent happier than to see their children thrive and spread the joy of life.
