Rachel & Dino | Elegant Waldenwoods Wedding

I have to start this post by saying I meet the very best people while working on this fun business of mine. Rachel and Dino are no exception! I actually met these two last fall when I had the honor of photographing Brianne and Ryan’s wedding, where Rachel was a bridesmaid, and was really excited when they first asked about working with them on their own wedding day. You could say that weddings have been an important part of Rachel and Dino’s love story since they actually first met at a mutual friend’s wedding.

Surrounded all day long by nothing but love from their family and friends, Rachel and Dino finally had their own dream wedding. A beautiful Catholic ceremony was followed by a gorgeous Waldenwoods wedding reception, where quite a celebration was had by all! As I went through all of their photos to choose which I would share in this preview, I couldn’t help but smile (ok, and maybe there was a tear or two…) as I relived the toasts and speeches and special dances.

Rachel and Dino, your love for one another is an inspiration. I lost count how many times I heard Dino look at Rachel and say “I am so lucky!” Your love is definitely one for the books. I especially loved how thoughtfully they incorporated their family throughout the day. Dino’s wedding band was actually made by melting down his grandfather’s wedding ring. And Rachel wore a ring that belonged to her grandmother. Each of their dad’s gave a toast at the beginning of the reception, and Rachel’s uncle and grandfather each said grace before dinner. It’s special touches like these that make every wedding so unique and I love being able to capture them!
