I just have to start by saying that I totally love these two! I first met Rachel & Dino at Brianne & Ryan‘s amazing wedding this past fall, and I could tell back then what a fun couple they are. I mean, any friend of Brianne and Ryan just has to be great. But then getting to know them better at their engagement session has made me ridiculously excited for their wedding this September.

The three of us, along with Rachel’s mom and their sweet pup, Val, all met up at Kensington park back in my hometown and braved the chilly winter weather Michigan has doled out this year. Guys! They crushed it! All the cold and the snow couldn’t keep these two from taking amazing photos. The weeks leading up to their session were really tough. My grandpa had just passed away and it had taken a toll, but this session brought so much joy back. I love that photography gives me the opportunity to meet so many incredible people.

Rachel and Dino actually met when they were both standing up in their friends’ wedding. What a perfect way to start a love story, no? How could you not feel a spark when you’re celebrating love! Maybe some of that luck will rub off on me this wedding season.
