This past Saturday, I had the honor of capturing a rustic, yet elegant, campground wedding that was fourteen years in the making. Yes, Alana and Chris tied the knot on their fourteenth anniversary! So amazing! Alana first contacted me this past spring, a few months into COVID. While a lot of wedding planning was very much up in the air at that time, she was certain she and Chris definitely had to get married on their anniversary.

Alana and Chris’s rustic campground wedding was the perfect part two to their woodsy engagement session, and it suited them perfectly. They put so much thought into every beautiful detail. And yet it was ultimately a wonderfully relaxed day celebrating with family and friends. Typically, a wedding is the start of two families coming together. However, after all these years, it was apparent that these two families had been one for quite some time. Hearing how much love and admiration everyone has for this couple through their toasts and stories was so special. Without further ado, here is a sneak peek at their day!
