I get excited every time I meet new clients, but repeat clients are just the best. It is always so nice getting to catch up with each other and take more photos. If you’re a long-time follower of my blog, you’ll definitely recognize these two! This is the second year in a row Gabi has contacted me for a Lake Michigan anniversary session at the pier in St. Joseph. This pier is a special place for them because it’s the place where Arthur proposed. Now that we’ve done this twice, it’s definitely a tradition we need to keep!

I just love how different this session looks than last year, despite being in the same place. Last year we had some dreamy golden hour glow – every photographer’s ideal scenario. But I am absolutely obsessed with these dark, moody, pre-thunderstorm skies that we had out by the water. Before heading to the pier, we took some shots on the cutest old brick road in downtown St. Joseph. All-in-all, I’m absolutely in love with this session and these people.

Gabi and Arthur, thanks for celebrating another year with me! I can’t wait for our next session together.
