I’m thrilled to share this family session that was as delightful as it was picturesque! Meet the Miller family: Guy, Lori, and their adorable seven-month-old, Emory. Lori actually chose the stunning Grand Mere State Park in St. Joseph for this shoot. It was my first time there and I absolutely can’t wait to go back.

After a stormy morning, the weather turned right around and we had a perfectly sunny evening. It was Emory’s first time exploring the dunes and playing in the sand, and watching her discover the texture of the sand was a heartwarming experience. She has the best, most serious, facial expressions! Guy and Lori were also fantastic, making the session feel effortless and fun. Their easygoing nature and love for each other created a relaxed atmosphere that really shows through in the photos.

I’m incredibly grateful to my wonderful clients who referred the Millers to me. It’s such a privilege to work with clients who fully trust me to capture these precious memories for them. The Miller family was an absolute joy to work with, and I’m thrilled with how their photos turned out. From Emory’s first sandy adventure to the loving interactions between Guy and Lori, each moment was a reminder of why I love this job so much!
