Love is not canceled. In light of all that has happened in 2020, I feel this is an important reminder. Concerts, festivals, and events of all kinds are being postponed or canceled. But love? Love is definitely not canceled.

If you’re a bride or groom that has had to change their 2020 weddings plans, I feel you. I, too, have had to rethink my own wedding plans. I think this is why I felt an immediate connection when Shae first e-mailed me. Like Shawn and I, David and Shae were planning a dream wedding overseas… in Italy. And then COVID-19 took over the world. Needless to say, their initial wedding plans fell through, but canceled wedding or not, their desire to get married never changed. Their date has changed. Their venue has changed. But their love is the same, and they will have an amazing celebration with their closest friends and family regardless! I am beyond excited to celebrate with them here at home in West Michigan.

David and Shae, thanks for meeting me last night, despite the heat, for a mini engagement session! It was a pleasure to get to know you better, and I cannot wait for your big day at Venue3Two!
