I’m bursting with excitement to spill the lavender-scented beans about this Mommy + Me photo shoot that’s straight out of a dream. Picture this: a sprawling lavender farm, hues of purple painting the horizon, and the sweet giggles of a precious mother-daughter duo dancing in the summer breeze. Yep, that’s the magic I had the honor of capturing for some cherished clients of mine.

Now, let me backtrack a bit. These beautiful people aren’t just clients; they’re practically family. I’ve been documenting their various chapters for years! There’s nothing more soul-filling than getting another session request from past clients. Photographers are a dime a dozen these days, it seems. So them choosing me time and time again is so special. Gabi had emailed me just as I had discovered Lavender Life Company, and I knew it would be a perfect backdrop for this shoot. I could see it so clearly: a radiant mama, her eyes sparkling with love, twirling her giggling mini-me amid rows of lavender blooms. Swoon.

Leading up to the shoot, the weather forecast was looking iffy. But luckily for us, the rain held out just long enough for us to hang out amidst the fragrant lavender, freezing moments that will be cherished for a lifetime. It’s sessions like this that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. It’s an honor to encapsulate love, joy, and the beauty of human connection in a single frame.
