Mandy’s Quick Tip | Get Your Photographer’s Input on Your Timeline

7/29/17

POSTED IN: For My Brides

Start getting your timeline together sooner rather than later, and run it by your photographer. Seasoned photographers have been to more weddings than they can count, and have a pretty good idea how much time is needed to thoughtfully document your day. Every wedding day is different, so their isn’t a “one-size fits all” timeline, but having a solid plan, and thinking through all the details, is the best way to ensure your day runs smoothly and you have time for all the photos you want captured. Your photographer will likely help you sort out things you didn’t think to factor in!

Many different things come into play when trying to build a timeline that not only makes sense, but gives enough time for everything. Things like ceremony time, whether or not you will have a first look, how many different family portrait groupings you want, what time sunset is, how much travel there will be on your wedding day, etc. are all things you will need to consider.
