Rustic Centennial Barn Wedding | Wayland, MI

POSTED IN: Weddings

Some people are just lucky…. Sarah is definitely one of those people! We had a tough winter here in Michigan this year; the kind that lingers well into April and makes us wonder if we are going to forever live in an igloo… Sarah and I had optimistically scheduled their engagement session for the first weekend in May, but as the time got closer, I was really worried we weren’t going to have the beautiful Spring she had envisioned. Wouldn’t you know it, though, that weekend gave us the most perfectly beautiful evening for a portrait session! It was the first weekend that really felt like Spring, finally! Fast forward to July. Michigan has been making up for all that extra cold and dishing out days in the upper 90s with “feels like” temps well into the 100s. Until Sarah and Steve’s wedding weekend! I couldn’t even believe it. They had the most perfect day – clear blue skies and temps in the low 80s.

Sarah and Steve planned a fun, rustic, outdoor wedding at the Centennial Barn in Wayland with lots of friends and family. These two are SO loved, and their day was the kind of day I wish I could photograph every weekend – full of love, laughter, and beautiful, heartfelt details.

Congratulations, you two! Enjoy this preview!
